Kirby Foundation announces $13.8 million in 2020 grants
The F.M. Kirby Foundation in Morristown, New Jersey, awarded nearly two hundred and fifty grants totaling $13.8 million in 2020 in support of organizations working to foster self-reliance and create strong, healthy communities.

The funding includes grants for COVID-19 relief and to nonprofit organizations in the areas of arts and humanities, education, the environment, health and medicine, human services, public policy, and religion. More than a hundred grants totaling more than $5.5 million were awarded to New Jersey-based organizations, with sixty-five nonprofits receiving grants totaling $3.6 million in support of efforts in Morris County. Additional grants totaling $8.3 million were awarded to organizations in upstate New York, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina — regions connected to Kirby family members — as well as national nonprofits based for the most part in Washington, D.C., and New York City.
